Your QXQ earbuds are designed to pair the moment you open the case. But if you've switched phones, want to connect a second device, or your earbuds won't show up, this guide covers every scenario — on both iPhone and Android.
First-time pairing (out of the box)
This is the easy one. QXQ earbuds enter pairing mode automatically the first time you open the case.
Step 1: Charge the case
Give the charging case 15–20 minutes on USB-C before first use. A flashing light means it's charging; a steady light means it's ready.
Step 2: Open the case lid (keep the earbuds inside)
With the earbuds seated in the case, open the lid. The LED on the case will blink white or blue — that's pairing mode.
Step 3: Open Bluetooth on your phone
- iPhone: Settings → Bluetooth (make sure it's on)
- Android: Settings → Connected devices → Pair new device
Step 4: Tap "QXQ" in the device list
Within a few seconds, "QXQ Air" (or your model name) appears under available devices. Tap it. You'll hear a "connected" chime in the earbuds.
Step 5: Done
Pop the earbuds in. From now on they reconnect automatically whenever you open the case near your phone.
Setting up Bluetooth Multipoint (two devices at once)
QXQ Air Pro supports Multipoint — staying connected to two devices simultaneously, like your laptop and your phone. Audio follows whatever is playing, and a phone call on either device takes priority.
- Pair the earbuds to your first device normally (steps above).
- Put both earbuds back in the case and close the lid for 5 seconds, then re-open it to re-enter pairing mode.
- On your second device, open Bluetooth and tap "QXQ" to connect.
- Both devices are now linked. Play music on one, then start a video on the other — the earbuds switch automatically.
If audio doesn't switch cleanly, simply pause the first device for a moment before playing on the second.
Connecting to a new phone (re-pairing)
Switched phones? Put the earbuds into pairing mode manually:
- Place both earbuds in the case, lid open.
- Press and hold the button on the case (or touch-hold both earbuds) for about 5 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly.
- The earbuds are now discoverable. Connect from the new phone's Bluetooth menu.
Troubleshooting
Earbuds don't appear in the Bluetooth list
- Confirm the earbuds have charge — seat them in the case and check the LED.
- Make sure they're in pairing mode (rapidly flashing LED), not already connected to another nearby device.
- Toggle your phone's Bluetooth off and back on.
- Move within 1 meter of the phone, away from other Bluetooth devices.
Only one earbud plays
This usually means the two earbuds lost sync with each other:
- Put both earbuds back in the case.
- "Forget" the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Reset the earbuds (see below), then pair fresh.
Choppy or cutting-out audio
- Keep your phone on the same side of your body as you, not in a back pocket through dense fabric.
- Crowded Wi-Fi/Bluetooth areas (gyms, transit) can cause interference — usually brief.
- Update your phone's OS; Bluetooth stacks improve with updates.
How to factory reset QXQ earbuds
A reset fixes most stubborn pairing issues:
- Place both earbuds in the charging case.
- With the lid open, press and hold the case button (or touch-hold both earbuds) for about 10 seconds.
- The LED will flash, then turn off — that confirms a full reset.
- Now pair as if brand new. Don't forget to "Forget This Device" on your phone first so it pairs cleanly.
Exact reset timings can vary slightly by model. For your specific model, see our pairing guide.
