Pairing Guide — Connect QXQ Earbuds in 60 Seconds
Pairing takes 60 seconds.
QXQ earbuds use standard Bluetooth, so they pair with any phone, tablet, or laptop. Pick your platform below.
iPhone & iPad setup
- Open Settings → Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Take both earbuds out of the case, then put them back in and leave the lid open. The LED blinks to show pairing mode.
- On your phone, tap QXQ when it appears under "Other Devices".
- That's it — you'll hear "connected". The earbuds reconnect automatically next time you open the case.
Android setup
- Open Settings → Connections → Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Open the case lid with both earbuds inside until the LED blinks.
- Tap QXQ in the list of available devices and confirm.
- Connected. (On the Air Pro, you can pair a second device too — see Multipoint below.)
Multipoint — two devices at once (Air Pro)
The QXQ Air Pro can stay connected to two devices — say a laptop and a phone. After pairing the first device, pair the second the same way. The earbuds switch audio to whichever device is playing.
How to reset & re-pair
Resetting fixes most issues: connection drops, only one earbud playing, or the buds not showing up.
- Put both earbuds in the case and leave the lid open.
- On your phone, "Forget" the QXQ device in Bluetooth settings.
- Touch and hold both earbuds' touch surfaces (or the case button, depending on model) for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red/white.
- Close the lid, wait 5 seconds, reopen it, and pair again from step 1 of your platform above.
Troubleshooting
Only one earbud plays
- Put both back in the case for 10 seconds, then take them out together.
- If it persists, do a reset — this re-syncs the left/right pair.
Earbuds won't show up when pairing
- Confirm they're charged (the case LED lights when you open it).
- Forget any old "QXQ" entry in Bluetooth settings, then retry.
- Move away from other open Bluetooth devices that might grab the connection.
Audio cuts out or stutters
- Keep your phone on the same side as the lead earbud, or in a front pocket.
- Crowded Bluetooth areas (gyms, trains) can cause brief dropouts — Game Mode on the Air Pro helps.
Poor bass or weak noise cancelling
- It's almost always the seal. Try a different ear-tip size — a snug fit makes a big difference.
